SAN FRANCISCO - Corticaldb, Inc announced it is updating its server base to the new Intel® Xeon® Processor 5500 series architecture, which is expected to use 40 percent less power and provide five times the computing density of previous systems. The 100 node system uses quad core Intel Nehalem Xeon dual processors with 64 gigabytes of RAM each.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Artificial Development, a San Francisco-based company that develops and supports CCortex ™, a digital emulation of the human cortex and peripheral systems, recently announced that its name will now be CorticalDB, Inc., highlighting key applications that are being developed from its groundbreaking research. Founder Marcos Giuillen remains President of the company and is also the Chief Technology Officer.
